River Oasis Cafe getting killed for "Min Wage Fee" on Yelp
River Oasis Cafe's Yelp page is hosting a heated discussion of the restaurant's controversial fee.
Most of the Yelp reviews posted pre-minimum wave kerfuffle were positive, but the restaurant's aggregate score is quickly being dragged down as more and more people post their objections to the fee.
The negativity started rolling in on Wednesday:
While most of the negative reviews came from folks who don't live in Minnesota, some are local:
This guy praised the food before laying into Oasis's owner:
Some of the negative posts are of questionable veracity, however.

And the questionable posts from out-of-towners haven't gone unnoticed:
Though the vast majority of the recent posts lay into Oasis for the minimum wage fee...
... some conservative Yelp users are defending the restaurant, and even using the colorful term "libtard" in the process:
We've repeatedly tried to reach River Oasis Cafe's owner for comment. We were told earlier this week that the owner wasn't in, and this morning, workers weren't answering the phone during business hours.
