Reward offered in unsolved murder of Minneapolis dancer


The murder of 20-year-old Joe Sodd III last June is still unsolved and police are now offering a reward for information about the killing. Sodd was killed near Augsburg College June 18 on his way home on his moped around 2 a.m. 

Sodd was a dancer and senior at Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle. He was back home in Minneapolis for the summer.

Police have yet to determine a motive in the case. More from the Star Tribune:
Police and CrimeStoppers are offering $1,000 for information about the killing of Joseph Sodd III near the busy intersection of 19th Avenue S. and 7th Street S., in the Cedar-Riverside neighborhood. 
"Homicide investigators have put in hundreds of hours on this case and have developed many leads," police said in an announcement of the reward. "Investigators believe there are still members of the community that have information about this case. They are asking anyone with information, no matter how small or insignificant to please come forward and talk with investigators."
