Reince Priebus is the new Michael Steele
What's a Reince Priebus?
Reince Priebus is chairman of the Republican Party in Wisconsin. And now he's also the chairman of the whole GOP shebang from coast to coast.
Republicans elected him to replace Michael Steele today, and now they're going to have to learn how to pronounce his name.
To those not from Wisconsin, where presumably "Reince Priebus" rolls off the tongue with ease, Comedy Central's Stephen Colbert offers help:
"This could be the perfect name for the chairman of the RNC, which I believe is pronounced 'Reince,'" Colbert says. "At first hearing Reince Priebus sounds like what you would say to a cop who pulled you over when you're stoned - 'Reince Priebus, officer, Reince Priebus.'"

Given the way Colbert banks almost six minutes of humor at Wisconsin's and Priebus's expense, we're sort of glad Norm Coleman never followed through with his rumored challenge to Steele for the role of party chair.
