Ramsey County Sheriff investigates possible murder-suicide
A little after 10 a.m. this morning, Ramsey County Sheriff's deputies were sent to Vadnais Heights to check on the well-being of a resident.
When they arrived on the 800 block of Woodgate Drive and walked up to the house, deputies made a grisly discovery.
Two people, a man and a woman, were found dead inside. The Ramsey County medical examiner is investigating and does not have an official cause of death yet. The identities of the victims will not be released until the families have been notified.
Although there is some indication that this may have been a murder-suicide, Ramsey County Sheriff public information officer Randy Gustafson says he cannot officially comment on that.
"At this time, the Ramsey County Sheriff's office does not believe the neighborhood to be at risk," he says.
Check back here for more details as they emerge.
