Quincy Antwain Blue is the charred body found in St. Paul
Police have identified the man found charred beyond recognition in a St. Paul alley Wednesday morning as 30-year-old Quincy Antwain Blue.
Blue was involved in Minneapolis music as a rapper, originally with the Kanser Troupe, and went by the name B.C. The St. Paul Police are investigating the death of the Brooklyn Park man as a homicide. His body is now with the Ramsey County Medical Examiner.
A three-year-old boy named Dominic Sim stumbled across Blue's body in an alley near Westminster and Geranium at about 8:30 AM on June 8th.
"Mommy, it's a ghost," Dominic Sim said, according to Mara Gottfried of the PiPress.
Dominic's mother, Yolanda Sim, rushed her son to a neighbor's house, where they called 911.
Neighbors said that Blue's polo shirt was still intact despite the burned body. They also said they could smell the stench from the roasted flesh.
No has been arrested in connection with the crime yet, and police are urging anyone with information to call the Homicide Unit at 651.266.5650.
