In the newspaper business, it's common practice for the staff to spend part of the morning meeting analyzing their product and comparing it to the competition. I have a feeling that today's meetings at the Pioneer Press and Star Tribune will be rather short.
Both papers used the same headline and AP photo for the NTSB story. Both had James Bond above the masthead, a recount story, and Denny Hecker's tale of woe. They both even have a mention next to Bond about the U of M's basketball seasons getting underway. It's just a bit strange.
