Pawlenty's still a mystery to most voters in new poll
Does this mean Tim Pawlenty will be out of the state even more, trying to boost his national profile? Public Policy Polling, out of Raleigh, N.C., is reporting in a November survey that 64 percent of respondents said they had no opinion of T-Paw one way or the other. He also trails Obama 48-35 percent in a hypothetical presidential contest. Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee comes the closest of any Republican to Obama, trailing by one percentage point, 46-45. Next comes former Massachussetts Gov. Mitt Romney at 47-42 percent, followed by former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, at 50-44 percent.
The survey of 1,253 registered voters took place Dec. 4-7. You can download the full results by clicking here.
