Pawlenty and Limbaugh caught in Republican orgy? Sick.

itemprop

We sure hope no one is Googling "Tim Pawlenty", "Rush Limbaugh", and "orgy" at once, but if they did, they might actually find a match. Unfortunately it's a classic DFL press release with some select keywords that get people talking.

The Minnesota DFLers were responding to Gov. Pawlenty's time spent in Washington, D.C. and his appearances as a radio host this week. They were warning Limbaugh that perhaps Pawlenty wants his job. Nope, they get along quite well in Republican orgies.

The DFL release (emphasis ours):
As Minnesotans brace for more bad fiscal news today from the administration of Governor Tim Pawlenty, the governor himself is taking a large portion of the day off to be a guest host on WCCO-AM.

Today is the second day in a row that Pawlenty has been on the station for a three-hour shift.

The Minnesota DFL Party released the following statement from spokesperson Eric Fought:

"These are serious times that require serious leadership. Governor Pawlenty should be working around the clock to find the solutions that will fix our state's economic crisis. Instead, he spent the weekend in Washington at a right-wing orgy with Republican Party head Rush Limbaugh. Pawlenty was attempting to court his radically-conservative base -- a base that loves him so much that he ended up second to last in their beauty pageant. Then he rushes home to audition for his next gig as Limbaugh's cheesy replacement.

"When will Tim Pawlenty start to work for Minnesotans and not simply for his own personal benefit? Every day, more and more Minnesotans find themselves without work. Pawlenty still has a job and needs to start doing it."
