Packer backer loses control after Arizona loss, assaults his wife
Apparently unable to cope with the loss his beloved Green Bay Packers suffered at the hands of the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday, Jeffrey M. Leffler, 45, of Lancaster, Wis., took out his frustration on his 36-year-old wife, Tammy.
The Dubuque, Iowa, Telegraph Herald reported that Grant County Sheriff's Department deputies took the 911 call at about 9 p.m. on Sunday. They arrested Leffler for domestic abuse and disorderly conduct, and took him to the Grant County Jail, where he was later released after posting bond.
