Oklahoma man arrested after Eagan woman stabbed 109 times
Ryan Hurd, of Tulsa, Okla., has been charged with second degree murder in the death of Kathryn Rose Anderson. The 19-year-old aspiring pastry chef from Eagan was stabbed 109 times and left in a roadside ditch near Owatonna. Her partially clad body was discovered last Thursday.
Hurd, 21, was arrested last week in Oklahoma. The Steele County Attorney said he will be extradited to Minnesota within the week.
In Octobe, Hurd was arrested on domestic assault charges after an argument with Anderson grew physical, and a Dakota County judge ordered Hurd to stay away from Anderson.
