God, or whatever controls the weather, must not be a fan of National Night Out. Because just as last night's block parties were set to hit high gear, a big ol' storm rolled through the Twin Cities metro and ruined all of the fun.

As a consolation prize, we bring you the 10 craziest storm photos we saw on Twitter. They probably aren't as enjoyable as a crockpot party -- especially if you're one of the unfortunate souls who had your house or car damaged by hail or falling trees -- but it's better than a kick in the pants, and on the bright side, the storm did prevent you from eating a mysterious mayonnaise-heavy food item prepared by one of your neighbors, right?
