Mpls cops use flashers to illegally park, grab leisurely sandwich at Milio's [PHOTOS]
Last time we checked, a growling stomach doesn't count as an emergency.
Photos from Sam Richards
Reader Sam Richards passed along photos showing two Minneapolis cops using their emergency flashers to illegally park, then take their time grabbing a sandwich at the Lyn-Lake Milio's.
"They waited in line too, which gave away that it wasn't a police call," Richards told City Pages, adding that the photos were taken around 1:30 a.m. on the morning of September 8.
The photo at the top of this post shows how the officers parked their squad. This photo shows them inside the sandwich joint with their car still illegally parked and the flashers on...
... and this one shows them waiting in line to make an order:
"It caught my eye because I thought one of the cops was the was one who was really brutal to Occupy and Occupy Homes protesters," Richards said, referring to the cop at left in the photo above. "I thought, this guy is continuing the same thing he's always doing with corruption and abuse of authority."
