More shootings in Minneapolis Sunday night
Three men were shot in north Minneapolis Sunday evening, and one of them is in critical condition.
The man in critical condition was transported to North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale, the Star Tribune is reporting. Two others went to Hennepin County Medical Center.
The men were shot in the 1700 block of Oliver Avenue N. at about 7:45 p.m. Not much is known about exactly what happened.
A fourth victim was also taken to HCMC by a private party. "We don't know if it's related," said Sgt. Jesse Garcia of the Minneapolis Police, but it may be.
There were two murders in Minneapolis over the weekend -- and one in St. Paul -- but the homicide count is still down. This time last year, there were 18 homicides in Minneapolis, Garcia said.
