Mischke show notes: Sept. 14, 2009

  • The word on the street is we have a 12 trillion dollar national debt. A concrete sense of what a trillion dollars looks like has always eluded me. Until today.
  • I was looking to purchase a new copy of Moby Dick since my old one was ruined after being left out in the rain. I found a new hard cover copy for 16 dollars. Don't ask me how, but I came upon this book accidentally and was surprised at how much more expensive it was than my favorite American classic. Would such a purchase be worth it?
  • I know I've been posting quite a bit of photography of late, but these first 13 shots by a storm chaser are worth marveling at.
  • This person is having trouble getting an answer.
