Mischke show notes: Sept. 10, 2009

  • I fancy myself quite a fine photographer. I am, however, not like most photographers. I work in the disposable camera medium, which makes my efforts more challenging (and rewarding) than anything an Ansel Adams or Annie Lebowitz would work on. If you like photography as much as I do, please take a look at this (the particular photo I sent in was rejected, by the way).
  • It's a glorious day for looking at all of existence. Not the way most people do, perusing headlines. No, take in the wonder of it all in pictures. How about these shots. Lordy, doesn't that change the way you look at your day. When was the last time you watched "puffed-up red giants, super-hot blue stars, long-lived red stars, and the burnt-out shells of dead white dwarfs vie for attention in the same frame."
