Mischke show notes: April 10, 2009

  • And the animals in the house just sit by, passively, as this injustice is committed. You tell me who should hang?

  • It's Good Friday. In the news today there are several stories having to do with what is actually known about the life of Jesus. Did he ever live at all? Who was he? One of the most informed scholars on this subject will be on the show today. Reverend Davidson Loehr is a former combat photographer with U.S. Army in Vietnam. He earned a Ph.D. in religion from the University of Chicago and has been a Unitarian minister since 1986. He is a member of the famed Jesus Seminar, a group devoted to learning what can be known about this historic figure, and what remains a mystery or simply myth.
Here is promotional information having to do with what the good Rev. is up to these days. He welcomes your emails relating to today's interview. Here is a website relating to part of our discussion: Born Again American Website. And a link to his book.
