Minnesotans aren't the only ones struck with Favremania
We were convinced only Minnesotans would be bored enough to allow themselves to spontaneously combust over the excitement following Brett Favre signing with the Minnesota Vikings. Apparently the whole country has completely lost their minds.
According to the Wall Street Journal, Favre's jersey was the No. 1 selling NFL jersey in 19 states between April and the preseason. Nineteen states! There were only seven other plays in the NFL that had top-selling jerseys in more than one state and none of them came close to Favre.
So what other states has just as many crazies as Minnesota? Favre had the top-selling NFL jersey in the following states:
Minnesota, Nevada, Utah, Colorado, Wyoming, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Wisconsin, Arkansas, Iowa, Mississippi, Florida, Kentucky, Indiana, Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Rhode Island.
