Minnesota once again dominates in voter turnout

Minnesota once again dominated weaker states like Wisconsin and Iowa to claim the coveted crown of the nation's most-engaged citizenship.

Minnesota had a turnout rate of 77.8% (beating Wisconsin's 72.5% and Iowa's 69.7%), according to this AP article.

This was actually a slightly off-year for Minnesota voter turnout. Here's a great PDF of voter turnout since 1950, as well as a chart (below), both courtesy of the Secretary of State's website.

Hell, sometimes it seems we love voting so much that we never want it to stop.
