Minneapolis pharmacist fights back against robber

Yet another would-be robber in the Twin Cities left their destination empty-handed this week after an employee fought back and forced them to flee. Earlier this week, it was a man with a gun inside a bank. This time it was a man with a butcher knife trying to get prescription drugs.

Cyrus Elliot, the pharmacist on duty at the Snyder Pharmacy at 4600 Nicollet Ave. S, said he had just started his shift Wednesday morning when the man came behind the counter with a clear plastic mask on his face, a hooded sweatshirt, a duffle bag, and a butcher knife. He demaned Elliot fill his bag with narcotics, but Elliot pushed him away using a stool.
