Michele Bachmann will speak at the National Press Club on July 28, according to an announcement today.
This isn't the first time Bachmann has regaled national scribes--we've got the highlights of her previous appearances below--but it is the first time since her sudden vault to national prominence and No. 2 candidate in the crowded GOP presidential field.
Which Bachmann will show up? Will it be the poised and polished candidate who captured the national imagination during the first debate? Or the tepid, fact-challenged bumbler who celebrated the Iowa birthplace of John Wayne Gacy?
