Michele Bachmann, Sarah Palin photo op could cost you a cool $10,000
Sarah Palin and Michele Bachmann, Republican voices for real, hardworking Americans, will be appearing together on April 7 in Minneapolis.
Palin, the former vice presidential candidate who quit her job as Alaska's governor to promote her memoir and become a Fox News talking head, is raising money for Bachmann's congressional re-election campaign. The Star Tribune's Rachel Stassen-Berger got an invite:
Tickets to the money event cost $500, with prices sky rocketing to $10,000 for a "private reception with photo opportunity." The couples who shell out $10,000 also get to fill a table for ten at a dinner.
Along with the fundraiser, there's going to be a rally "free and open to the public" at 2 p.m. in the Minneapolis Convention Center -- as long as you pledge to volunteer for the GOP.
