Michele Bachmann has officially begun her spiral (or rise?) into a Sarah Palin-esque D-list celebrity.
Igor Bobic, a politics editor at Huffington Post, posted a series of tweets this morning showing our all-time favorite Minnesota congresswoman filming a part in Sharknado 3.

Apparently Bachmann plays Congresswoman Michele Bachmann in her cameo, so the role didn't stretch her range too much.
Sharknado, if you remember, captivated the nation's Twitterati when it aired on July 11, 2013, on SyFy Channel. How could it not? It's an intentionally bad action/horror flick about a tornado that chucks man-eating sharks at the innocent citizens of Los Angeles. Here's a two-minute summary to get you caught up. It's amazing.
Sharknado 2: The Second One (that's seriously the title) quickly followed the original, and now here we are with Sharknado 3, which stars Mark Cuban as the president of the United States and Ann Coulter as vice president. And Michele Bachmann as herself.
