Metro Transit launches annual Commuter Challenge
Leave your car home, would ya? Or at the very least, share it with someone. Or hop on a bike. (Did we mention Minneapolis is the best city for biking in the nation? Yes we did.)
That's the message from Metro Transit, which launched its annual Commuter Challenge today. Pledge to engage in some less polluted commuting at mycommuterchallenge.org and you could win an iPod Touch and other goodies. And you could help the air.
"The Commuter Challenge adds an extra incentive to try a different way of getting to work or school, but it's about more than just winning prizes," said program manager Brian Lamb in a statement.
