Men murdered in south Mpls alley appeared in rap music video shot two days earlier [VIDEO]
Screengrab from Lil Cheiff's "Ya Feel Me."
On the evening of August 25, two men were found shot to death in a bullet-ridden SUV parked in an alley between the 2600 blocks of Cedar and 18th Avenues in the Phillips neighborhood of south Minneapolis. No arrests have been made in connection with the murders.
Days later, authorities identified the two men as Minneapolis residents De'Von Burt, 18, and Keondray Q. Wilson, 20. And according to the Star Tribune's Eric Roper, both appeared in Lil Cheiff's "Ya Feel Me" music video, which was shot just two days before the two were gunned down.
The video begins with a screen that reads "R.I.P Duval" and "R.I.P Nunu." Though it's unclear when exactly the men appear in the video, a tipster drew our attention to the following Instagram photo and said they believe Nunu is the man in the "Surface to Air" shirt (click to enlarge):
And here's what Roper said on Twitter, along with the music video:
