Maynard's Restaurant apologizes for ill-conceived 9/11 promotion
You knew this was coming, didn't you?
Yesterday evening, Maynard's management apologized for the tasteless 9/11 promotion it ran on the restaurant's Facebook page for a brief spell earlier in the day. Their apology went over much better than the one offered up by the Tumbledown Trails Golf Course in Wisconsin for a similar gaffe earlier in the week.
Here's Maynard's apology:
Compare that with Tumbledown's after they ran an ad for "9 holes with cart for only $9.11 per person or 18 holes with cart for only $19.11! 9/11/13 Only!":
