Tuesday's five most fascinating stories printed on wood pulp:

Faribault man wants to purposely turn streets into ice rinks
Another one of those "only in Minnesota" stories. As if our terrible weather doesn't already create treacherous conditions on our roads, on man in Faribault wants to flood one of their streets to create an ice rink attraction. Watch videos of cars spinning out on roads across Minnesota would lead us to think most people wouldn't find a purposely icy street very hilarious. Flashbacks!

Apparently Minnesota has some pretty strict adult entertainment laws that passed a couple years ago. It's unfortunate because Zumbro Falls might not have their Pussy Cabaret. Sounds classy, right? The strip club is fighting in court to open in the small town of 177 people, but the city is fighting it with this state law.

A campus-wide tabacco-free policy went into effect on the college campus Monday. Luckily for Winona State smokers. the campus is so small that a brisk walk gets you off campus in minutes. The University of Minnesota is also considering a ban, which would require students to take a pretty long hike just to have a smoke during the day.

This was news to us. Alfonso Rodriguez Jr. was found guilty of kidnapping and killing 22-year-old University of North Dakota student Dru Sjodin in 2003. He was sentenced to death in 2006 and is now appealing that ruling.

Minnesota is looking at making a new law that would require fire sprinklers to be installed in all new homes and rental properties to help prevent serious fire damage and save lives. Some say the installation is too expensive and doesn't make a big enough difference.
