Man rescues deer from icy lake [VIDEO]
Yesterday, Duluth's WDIO TV broadcast amazing footage of Cotton-area resident Jeff Slygh using a canoe to save a deer from the freezing waters of St. Louis County's Nichols Lake.
A HOAX?: Donna the Deer Lady seriously believes deer crossing signs are like crosswalks for deer [AUDIO]
Slygh said a neighbor told him on Sunday morning about a deer that had wandered onto the lake and fallen through the ice, and he decided to take action. Thankfully, a bystander was able to film the ensuing chain of events.
Without further ado, here's WDIO's report:
Kinda makes you wanna grab your nearest deer and take a canoe trip, doesn't it?
