Man gets jail time for beating cat, torturing kitten with pepper spray
A Maple Grove man beat his girlfriend's cat so badly that it had to be euthanized. And three other cats in the home mysteriously disappeared. Now he's going to spend 30 days in jail to think about the poor kitten who is probably still crying after he put pepper spray in its eyes. Crying kittens! For the love!Ryan J. Wolcott, 25, was sentenced to 30 days behind bars for animal cruelty and abandonment. He admitted he squeezed one of the cats and then hit it against a bathtub. He also put pepper spray in the eyes of one kitten who then disappeared from the Eagan home.
There were two other cats that disappeared around the same time. No word on their whereabouts, but we feel pretty confident their lives on the streets are better than being thrown against bathtubs. Those felines had enough sense to dip out before Wolcott got his hands on them. Or they are dead in some field, sadly forgotten.
