Man gets 30 years in prison for sexually abusing infants, young girls at daycare
The then-husband of a St. Cloud day care provider was sentenced to 30 years in prison for taking photos of himself sexually abusing young girls as young as 9 months old at the day care.
Why this man isn't put away for life is unbelievable. This crime is horrifying and he should get no second chance. Dennis Michael Lemke, 43, received the statutory maximum in federal court, but still faces state charges in Stearns County.
Lemke abused the young girls in 2006 when his wife went away to run errands. His wife didn't know about the abuse and divorced him immediately when she found out. The evidence against the man? About 800 photographs of him having sex with four girls mostly under 2 years old.
He must serve 25.5 years before he is eligible to be released.
