Man allegedly steals at MSP, tries to use plane as getaway vehicle

Airports might seem like the perfect place to steal. You take your items minutes before your plane's last boarding call, slip in at the last second and off you go never to be caught by security. Unfortunately it doesn't exactly work that way. And don't forget that airports know exactly who is inside their building at all times. It's called a boarding pass or employee ID.

This guy apparently didn't think it all through. Gagandeep Singh, 20, has been charged with felony burglary after trying to use a plane as a getaway vehicle at the Lindbergh Terminal.

Police say he stole $1,500 in good including watches, cologne, sunglasses, and stuffed animals from airport stores and tried to get on a plane with them.

Stuffed animals? For real? We'd say they aren't exactly worth the risk as a 20-year-old man, but we're sure your girlfriend is really proud right now.
