Man accused of imprisoning girls, sexually assaulting them
If any girls in your life suddenly start "hanging out" with a 40-year-old man, it might be time to start getting worried. Why exactly would this man want to hang out with young girls?
Waterville resident Daniel Reyes Jr. is charged with holding girls in his home when they tried to leave and sexually assaulting them. He was caught when a neighbor thought it was weird that he had young girls coming over to his home. The girls say they started visiting him because they thought he was cool.
More from WCCO:
Police spoke with the girls in question and they told police that Reyes forced them to watch pornography and wouldn't let them leave his house. The girls also said he sexually touched them and exposed himself.
"When we were walking out the door, he grabbed my arms, and pulled me back and brought his hands around me and started touching my boobs and stuff. I tried to like get away but he kept pulling me back to him," said one 13-year-old.
Reyes has been charged with two counts of false imprisonment, two counts of solicitation of a child to engage in sexual conduct, and two counts of fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct and fifth-degree criminal sexual conduct.
