Machinists back Franken
The labor endorsements continue to roll in for Al Franken. Today the senate candidate picked up support from the Minnesota State Council of Machinists. The union represents 5,100 workers in the state. Franken has been consolidating support among labor groups in recent weeks, withEducation Minnesota
,AFSCME Council 5
, and thestate council of SEIU
all announcing endorsements. This would seem another positive portent for his candidacy heading towards the DFL endorsing convention.
