Emergency vehicles in the Lyn-Lake area can be heard rushing to 3043 Grand Avenue South, where a home reportedly exploded and partially collapsed this afternoon.

Here's what KARE 11's John Croman heard on the police scanner:

Police clips reports that "Multiple FD and EMS units [are] en route. 1st FD Units confirming reports and laying tank line for small amount of fire."

And KSTP provides this bizarre tidbit:

KSTP also reports that the initial police call about the blast came in just before 4 p.m.

On the note of no injuries yet being reported, here's a photo just shared by KSTP's Steve Tellier:

From the Star Tribune:

Neighbor Christopher Wallin was in his apartment just next door to the building where the explosion happened when he happened to look out the window.

"I heard an explosion and then a microwave flew out the window," he said. Wallin said he saw other debris fly out of the house and that a table was stuck half in and half out of a window. He saw a small fire and called 911.

KARE's Julie Nelson reports that no humans were injured in the explosion and subsequent blaze, but sadly, there was a victim:
