Lame duck speaks: Tpaw breaks Twitter silence
After announcing he would not seek a third term as Minnesota governor last week, raising speculation that he instead will pursue a presidential run against Barack Obama, Tim Pawlenty broke his silence on Twitter at 8:55 a.m. this morning when he Tweeted:
decided last week not to seek 3d term as MN Governor; will make most of 18 months left in term; much work to do; mtgs today
This is the first authorized Twitter communication from TPAW(C) since he told us he wrenched his back playing hockey, so clearly this is his way of saying, "I'm no lame duck."
But the best way to tell a politician is a lame duck is when he goes out of his way to tell you he's not a lame duck.
