Keith Ellison must have really wanted that pay raise

Congress has this nifty provision that allows its members to get automatic pay raises -- unless they vote against it in any given year.

This year, with the the economy in the tank, both the Senate and the House did just that: No raises for them.

But there were 15 hold-outs in the House yesterday. One of them -- and the only one from Minnesota -- was Democratic Rep. Keith Ellison of Minneapolis.

When we get some comment from Ellison's office, we'll pass it along. Meantime, here's the roll call. (The Senate passed the measure on a voice vote.)
