Karl Rove booked by U of M College Republicans
Bush's brain, revered Republican tactician, and Democratic bete noir Karl Rove will speak and sign copies of his White House memoir on Thursday, April 22, from noon to 2 p.m. at Smith Hall on the university's East Bank campus.
Check out reviews of the book at the Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, New Yorker and Christian Science Monitor. There's also some right-wing "setting the record straight" love at the National Review and a left-wing "less memoir than hoax" blast at Huffington Post.
The man is a lightning rod. When he showed up in California and Nevada, Code Pink activists attempted citizens' arrests. MinnIndy reports that anti-war activists may try the same thing here.
