Joshua Bystrom, 21, arrested for murder of Trent Crumble
St. Paul Police arrested Joshua Bystrom, 21, this afternoon on suspicion that he murdered 24-year-old Trent Crumble.
At about 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday May 4, police found Crumble lying in the parking lot of a business at 600 Dale Street, with a gunshot wound in his torso. Crumble was transported to Regions Hospital, where he later died.
Police say the slaying was not random--but details are still a mystery. Apparently, police divers are now searching Como Lake for evidence related to the case.
Police are also asking for people who know about the circumstances that led to the homicide to come forward and speak with them. Anyone who knows anything should call 651-266-5650.
And that mysterious amount of information is all we have for now.
