Joe Biden's presence shuts down 35W [PHOTO]
Vice President Joe Biden jetted into town last night for a private fundraiser at the Bachelor Farmer, the swank downtown Minneapolis restaurant owned by Gov. Mark Dayton's sons.
Authorities shut down I-35W during Biden's trips to and from downtown, as captured in this photo by the Star Tribune's Glen Stubbe:

Stubbe told us the Crosstown Highway was also shut down for Biden.
Before the dinner event, Biden made a brief stop at Moose & Sadie's, where he generated headlines by telling a group of local women the number of people signing up for health insurance via Obamacare will probably fall short of the initial estimate of seven million.
"We may not get to seven million, but if we get to five or six million that's a hell of a start," Biden said.
Biden's remarks at the private Bachelor Farmer event weren't documented by the press, but a little birdie did pass along the food and drink menu:
And then it was back to Washington, where Biden's return may or may not have interrupted the first family's slumber:
Wonder if the First Family can sleep through Marine One landing on the South Lawn at nearly 2AM? But no neighbors to bother.
