Jesse Ventura's son Tyrel has become one of the media jackals the ex-governor once famously hated, on a TV station backed by the Russian government, of all places.

Earlier this week the English-language Russian news channel RT announced that the new show, Watching the Hawks, will be hosted by Tyrel Ventura, Oliver Stone's son Sean, and a Wisconsin-born ex-actress named Tabetha Wallace. See also: Jesse Ventura's Reddit AMA: Top Quotes

According to the press release heralding the show, Ventura will use his "fun, self-effacing swagger" to focus on stories the rest of the lamestream media ignores.

The hard-hitting investigative trio is replacing Abby Martin, who caused a big media ruckus a year ago when she criticized Russia's invasion of Crimea on air and later refused to back down.

Stone and Ventura previously hosted a show together titled Buzzsaw on something called TheLip.tv.

Buzzsaw's last episode featured a discussion on Santanic rituals and the meaning of relative morality with an occult expert. So, if you're into that sort of thing, Watching the Hawks debuts March 23.
