Another Ellison with a parking problem

The Charleston (West Virginia) Gazette reports that Keith Ellison recently appeared before city elders to complain that he and his neighbors were receiving too many parking tickets.

The move came after Keith Ellison addressed the City Council on Thursday night with a complaint that he and his neighbors had been receiving too many parking tickets recently — although he admitted that illegal parking was common along the thoroughfare.

"We're offering to extend an olive branch to get some relief, the tickets have been raining down," he said. "But there's just no place to park."

The Keith Ellison in question being a South Charleston resident, we're betting this will be the first and last time he will make headlines for public discussion of his scofflaw parking history.
