Intoxicated Wisconsin man run over by train survives
How lucky is this guy? He wanders along some railroad tracks near Fond du Lac, reportedly three sheets to the wind, ends up on the ground between the tracks and gets away with barely a scrape after a Canadian Pacific Railway train rolls right over him.
Police say engineers saw a person laying in the middle of the tracks by Ninth and Military around 10:30. They couldn't stop the three-engine train in time.
Investigators say the man crawled out from under the train, unhurt and looking as if he'd "just awakened from a nap."
Police say the 42-year-old man was drunk. He was cited for trespassing.
A trespassing citation seems like a better deal any day than getting sliced, diced and crushed.
