India offers U.S. expertise in large scale disasters

The Telegraph reported yesterday that India's Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has offered the United States five million dollars, a Russian-built military transport plane loaded with large water purification systems both for households and communities and critical medical supplies, as well as their expertise in dealing with large-scale disasters.
