Hypocrite Bachmann can't keep her earmarks straight
Rep. Michele Bachmann's new work strategy isn't serving her well. The Minnesota Republican lawmaker apparently thinks it's easier to lie to make yourself look good until you get busted in that lie. Then you just pretend you never said the lie in the first place.
Bachmann was walking high and mighty pretending she has never taken earmarks. Then we find out she in fact did take earmarks in 2008 and she starts back pedaling.
It's politics at its best. Luckily we have the joy of screaming hypocrisy, thanks to YouTube video.
Here is one FOX News interview quote where she claims to be earmark-free since taking office:
Lies! According to the Legistorm database of earmarks, Bachmann requested seven earmarks worth $3.7 million in fiscal year 2008. Busted.
So then she is called out on it and changes her story:
So what happens to hypocrites? They make it onto Keith Olbermann's "Worst Person in the World" list.
