Isn't there another "wasteland" in the United States to rip on? Apparently not. Hollywood takes another obnoxious dump on Minnesota with their latest winner of a movie, "New in Town". Poor Renee Zelweger, the classic city girl, is forced to live in New Ulm (OK, that is a wasteland) and survive a winter. By the looks of the trailer, perhaps they are using Minnesota for a cutsey finish. There are good things to appreciate in a wasteland after all! Harry Connick Jr. in particular. The movie comes out next month.
