Reader Joseph DeCamillis responds to Report: Minnesota DFL Party launders money for Clinton campaign, DNC:
Finally this is getting some air. I hope Minnesotans follow up with bold action.
We did nominate Bernie Sanders in a landslide. Between sketchy workings of the Clinton Foundation and collusion between the Hillary Victory Fund and the DNC, I don't think it's the last we will hear about this chicanery.
It frustrates me that the small inroads President Obama made toward fighting big and dirty money in our political system have been squashed by DNC Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz, the DNC, and most of all Hillary Clinton.
One of her biggest campaign themes has been a promise to carry on, albeit very slowly, all the progress of the Obama administration. Yet before even reaching the White House, she went whole hog on the Super PAC binge, corporate donations, and excessive catering to the elites of our oligarchy, while Wasserman Schultz lifted Obama's ban on Super-PAC and federal lobbyists' donations to the DNC.
Do you really think Clinton will just stop there with subverting progress? C'mon. As my four-year-old daughter would say when in disbelief (along with air quotes and some four-year-old attitude): "Ahh guys! It's a Saguaro cactus."
I know that makes no sense whatsoever, but neither does what's going on in this messed up election.
