-- Update at bottom --
Original post (November 7) -- If you thought the bro-y Elan Uptown apartment advertisement we wrote about yesterday is an isolated thing, take a gander at the photo of the top of this post.
It's an advertisement for an under-construction apartment building at 2904 Lyndale Avenue South that says, "Don't get hitched until your enjoy your year at Lime."
In both cases, the implication is clear -- move to one of Uptown's trendy new apartments and suddenly your phone won't have enough storage space to handle all the digits hot Herkimer babes will offer you.
In an interview with WCCO about the advertising campaign, Brent Rogers, VP of Greco Properties, the company developing Lime, said, "We really wanted to just capture the fun community aspect of what Lime is going to be."
"It's meant to be fun and attract the young professional clientele that doesn't take themselves too seriously," he continued.
That's cool, but ads like Elan's and Greco's don't do much to entice women to move there, do they?
:::: UPDATE ::::
And here's one more bro-plex advertisement adorned to the side of the still-under-construction Lime building:
