Henry Paulson gave seven Eagan High School students a detour on the way home yesterday afternoon, crashing their school bus into a parked motor home before coming to a stop in someone's front yard.
None of the students were hurt.
When the cops got there and interviewed the 61-year-old man, it smelled like he'd been drinking, so they gave him a field sobriety and breath test. He failed, Eagan Police spokeswoman Officer Danielle Anselment told WCCO.
Final charges will depend on the toxicology tests, but it looks like a minimum of two misdemeanor charges will be leveled against the guy. His driving record was clean. After booking, he was released.
The Star Tribune reported that Paulson has been suspended and is being investigated by the Rosemount-Apple Valley-Eagan School District, his employer.
