GOP phone # sends Minnesotan to sex line
A mystery Minnesotan got a surprise recently when he tried to call and complain about a Republican fund raising letter he received that was disguised as a Census mailer:
He called the telephone number listed on the mailer and, according to Poitico, "he was directed to a phone sex line, that greets callers as "sexy guy" before offering them the chance to talk with "real local students, housewives and working girls from all over the country."
The audio ended up in the hands of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. Want to listen in? Click here.
A GOP spokesman confirmed the embarrassing typo, which comes in the same week that Republican Party chair Michael Steele was forced to explain to donors why they had footed a $2,000 tab for a night of fun and games at a bondage-themed strip club in Los Angeles.
