Garrison Keillor is too old for Facebook
A silly Facebook editing error on Garrison Keillor's profile sent people into a spiral of concern and confusion yesterday. When an update on his page said he was "no longer married," everyone flipped. Especially the Star Tribune's C.J.
Luckily there is a simple answer: Keillor is just too old to understand how Facebook works.
Perhaps the biggest concern of the crazy scary Facebook profile change was Keillor's unfortunate marriage history. Another divorce would be pretty devastating. His current wife, Jenny Lind Nilsson, is his third.
But 24 hours later, all was solved and Keillor was officially married on Facebook once again. At least he gave C.J. something to write about yesterday. "At 5:31 p.m., Keillor posted an explanation, sly in its wit. 'Sorry about the confusion. I was editing quickly. We are still married,' Keillor wrote on the website."
