Franken, Ritchie have TV appearances to talk about recount trial

Al Franken is crawling back from Florida for some TV press. Will he talk as soon-to-be Sen. Franken or humble patient candidate?

If you want to get some more dirt in the Minnesota recount and contest trial, you'll be able to catch Franken and Secretary of State Mark Ritchie (separately) on TV this weekend.

WCCO's Esme Murphy ripped Franken for his lack of media appearances since the recount trial started. Now Franken will do an interview with Murphy this weekend.

Catch Franken on WCCO Sunday Feb. 8 at 10 a.m.

Ritchie is the keynote speaker at the National Conference of Secretaries of State in Washington, D.C. on Saturday Feb. 7. He's a big shot these days, obviously.

Ritchie says the speech will be broadcast live on C-SPAN starting at 12:10 p.m. CST.

Will Coleman work the TV circuit this weekend too?
